THE COMPLETE REVELATION OF GOD’S LOVE

He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love (1 John 4:8).

Many people have their own definition of love because the word love has been there even before Jesus came. People used it in their daily language. It was not created when Jesus arrived. Even in the Greek expression, love, which is translated “agape,” was a known word; they used it in their daily conversations, so they already had their idea of love.

But the Lord Jesus Christ is the true definition of God’s love. He was the visible manifestation and expression of the love of God when He walked the earth. The Bible says God is love; that love was tabernacled in human flesh and manifested to us in the person of Jesus. When He walked the earth, it was love walking, talking, touching and changing lives.

When He entered the temple and preached, He was God’s love preaching. When He healed the sick, He was God’s love healing them. Even when He made whips and overturned the tables of the money changers in the temple, that was God’s love in manifestation.

Make no mistakes about it, your human definition of love will never decide for God what love is. Jesus Christ was God’s love come to us in the flesh. John 1:14 says, “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”

Fully God and fully man, He embodied everything love is. Therefore, to know love, you must know the Lord Jesus. To understand love, you must see it through Him. He is the perfect and complete revelation of God’s love to humanity.

PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for revealing your love to me in Christ Jesus. I walk in the consciousness of your love, expressing it with wisdom, truth and power. My life reflects the love of Christ in action, bringing healing, righteousness and transformation to my world, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

PRAYER OF SALVATION

We trust you have been blessed by this devotional. We invite you to make Jesus Christ the Lord of your life by praying thus:

O Lord God, I believe with all my heart in Jesus Christ, Son of the living God. I believe He died for me and God raised Him from the dead. I believe He’s alive today. I confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is the Lord of my life from this day. Through Him and in His Name, I have eternal life; I’m born again. Thank you Lord, for saving my soul! I’m now a child of God. Hallelujah!”

Congratulations you are now a child of God and welcome to the family of God. I have a Book for you to help you grow in the things of God.

TOPIC ✨ “IT’S ABOUT THE BLESSING IN YOU ✨

And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian (Genesis 39:2).

The Bible tells us a beautiful story in Genesis chapter 37 through 50, which recounts the life of Joseph, his journey from the pit to the palace, and the blessings of God upon his life. Having been sold by his brothers into slavery, he was later brought into what looked like a new opportunity when he became a housekeeper in Potiphar’s home.

Nevertheless, Joseph never lost consciousness of his identity. He knew he was Jacob’s son, the seed of Abraham; therefore, he refused to see himself as a victim of circumstances. That understanding shaped the way he lived and worked. Even in menial assignments, Joseph distinguished himself. He functioned with a difference. He carried himself as one who was blessed, and that blessing was evident in everything he did.

His excellence couldn’t be ignored, and his life stood out so distinctly that even Potiphar’s wife sought to seduce him. But Joseph refused her advances, recognising both the integrity required of him and the honour of his master’s trust. Regardless of the pressure from Potiphar’s wife for him to compromise, Joseph chose righteousness and fled.

His decision led to a false accusation and imprisonment. He was condemned despite his innocence. Yet, the prison didn’t redefine him. Joseph didn’t forget who he was, and the blessing on his life continued to produce results. Right there in prison, he became a source of encouragement, giving hope to others and functioning with wisdom and grace until he was entrusted with leadership among the prisoners.

Then, by God’s design, Pharaoh required an interpretation of a dream, and Joseph was brought out from confinement. In a moment, the one who had been sold as a slave and treated as a criminal was elevated to become the prime minister of Egypt. His location changed, but the blessing had been consistent all along.

This is the truth many have not yet understood: it’s not about your job; it’s about the blessing of Christ in you. When you understand who you are in Christ, your location cannot limit you. The blessing in you will speak wherever you are. You’re the seed of Abraham, a carrier and dispenser of the blessing. The blessing makes you productive, excellent and prosperous. Praise God!

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the blessing of Christ at work in me. I walk in the consciousness of who I am, and I function with excellence everywhere I go. Your blessing makes me productive and prosperous, and I am a source of hope and answers to my world, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

TOPIC ✨ “WHICH THINGS ALSO WE SPEAK” ✨

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God (1 Corinthians 2:12).

One of the reasons the Holy Spirit came into your life is to help you know the things of God and make you conscious of what God has freely given to you. 1 Corinthians 2:11-13 explains this with striking clarity. It says, “…the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.”

Now, notice something absolutely remarkable in the 12th and 13th verses. There’re those who criticise Christians for speaking or confessing the Word, especially when it concerns prosperity, health, victory, or dominion in Christ. But their problem is ignorance of the Word. There’re only two directions: if you’re not proclaiming prosperity and health then you’ve endorsed lack and sickness. There’s no middle ground.

3 John 1:2 proves that God is interested in your complete prosperity: your material prosperity, and the prosperity of your soul: “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” Not only does the Holy Spirit reveal these and other amazing truths of your heritage and identity in Christ to you, He also teaches you to speak them.

Christianity is for talkers. If you don’t speak what God has given you, you’re not practising Christianity as revealed in Scripture. We talk our inheritance. We declare our identity. We profess our heritage. We boldly declare what we have and who we are in Christ. That’s the victory principle—saying what God has said: “…he hath said…So that we may boldly say…” (Hebrews 13:5-6).

As you keep saying what God has said, the realities of the Kingdom are manifested in your life. Therefore, declare your victory. Affirm your dominion. Speak your prosperity and health. Speak the Word boldly and watch your life go from glory to glory. Hallelujah!

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the Holy Spirit who teaches me to speak the things you have freely given to me. My mouth is filled with your Word, and I speak boldly. I walk in victory, dominion and prosperity, and my life is transformed from glory to glory, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

THE RIGHT FOUNDATION FOR FAITH*

For we walk by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7).

Do you want to live the Christian life according to the Bible? Then you’ve got to know and follow the Word for yourself and live by it, not your feelings. Feelings and personal experiences are not the basis for faith. God never designed us to rely on experiences. Our faith is founded on His Word.

People often describe different sensations they “feel” when the power of God is manifested. Some say they felt something cold, others say they felt something hot. Some say they were shaking, and others say they became stiff and couldn’t move. These are personal experiences peculiar to different individuals.

Therefore, it’s not right for anyone to make a doctrine out of their personal experience. The Bible never says you must feel anything when the power of God is working in you, on you, or through you. The Word doesn’t base divine realities on sensations. They’re activated by faith. No matter the feeling you may have, focus on the Word, on the result, that God’s grace has met your need. A beautiful example is the woman with the issue of blood. The Bible records that the moment she touched the hem of the Master’s garment, “…straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague” (Mark 5:29).

Notice that her testimony of the feeling was that she was healed. That is the kind of testimony that matters; the best report is to know and testify that you are healed. That’s the Word’s report and provides the right foundation for faith. Faith is the expectation of the fulfilment of God’s Word and acting accordingly, and you’ll enjoy the results that the Word guarantees.

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for your Word that guides my life and establishes my faith. My confidence is anchored in your truth, and I walk in the reality of your Word today. My faith is strong, my spirit is confident, and my life produces faith-based results because I live by your Word, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

GRACE AND RIGHTEOUSNESS

For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ (Romans 5:17).

God gives us grace according to His purpose for our lives. His grace works from within you to accomplish what He has designed or called you to do. That grace will influence and bless those who are connected to you according to Gods plan.

But if someone isnt called to be within the influence of that grace, they may not be blessed by it, because they are not assigned to that calling. However, righteousness is not like grace. We all have the same righteousness because our righteousness is the righteousness of Jesus Christ. Weve been made righteous by His righteousness.

None of us stands before God on the basis of personal righteousness. None of us is accepted by God because of our own efforts. Whether you were born again five minutes ago, or ten years ago, or fifty years ago, the righteousness we all have is the same. You will never be more righteous than you are today, because you have received the perfect righteousness of Jesus Christ. You cant improve it.

Romans 5:17 makes this clear. It says, "...they which receive abundance of grace, and of the gift of righteousness...." Theres only one gift of righteousness and its a well-deserved gift for all humanity, following the vicarious sacrifice of the Lord Jesus in our behalf. Its not earned but received, and it doesnt grow or increase.

Grace, on the other hand, can increase or be multiplied: "Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord" (2 Peter 1:2). God gives more grace, as James 4:6 says, "But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble." But righteousness is the same for every Christian, being the righteousness of Jesus Christ. Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for your grace that youve granted me for my calling, and for the gift of righteousness by which I stand before you, justified and reign in life through Jesus Christ. Im conscious of your grace at work in me, and Im secure in the righteousness of Christ. I live boldly and purposefully, fulfilling your will, in Jesus Name. Amen.

TOPIC ✨ WE HAVE THE SAME SPIRIT ✨

For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him (John 3:34).

Many people speak about different measures of the Spirit, as if Christians receive varying portions of the Holy Spirit. But the truth is that we all received the same Holy Spirit in the same measure. We received the fullness of Him. The Holy Spirit is a Person, and when you received Him, you received the entirety of His Person.

We read in our opening scripture that God doesn’t give the Spirit by measure, meaning you didn’t receive a part but all of Him. This is how the Lord Jesus received the Holy Spirit, and it’s how every Christian receives Him. It marks a significant difference between the Old Testament and the New Testament.

In the Old Testament, the Spirit came on them in measures and for specific assignments, but now, we have received the fullness of Him. If the Spirit were given in measures today, how could we truly know how much we have received? What you have is the same Spirit that the apostles received. Studying the Book of Acts reveals a consistency: the Spirit in them produced boldness, power, and extraordinary results.

The same is true of us today. The early Church carried the consciousness of the Kingdom and the authority of Christ. They preached with clarity and conviction, and God’s Word prevailed in their cities just as it does through us around the world today. By the same Spirit, the sick are healed, we cast out devils, raise the dead, and transform entire communities.

We believe in what we have received and we’re acting accordingly; the Name of the Lord Jesus is magnified. We’re unstoppable because we know who we are and what we have. In Romans 8:11, this truth is amplified: it’s not a part of the Spirit that raised the Lord Jesus from the dead that’s dwelling in us; it’s the “same Spirit.” That same Spirit has vitalised your physical body and invigorated you with miracle-working ability. This is your reality. Walk in this consciousness and manifest the power and dominion of Christ.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the gift of the Holy Spirit who lives in me in His fullness. I walk in the consciousness of His indwelling presence, and I manifest the power, boldness and authority of Christ everywhere. My life is vitalised by the same Spirit that raised the Lord Jesus from the dead, and I walk in the dominion, wisdom and victory of the Spirit, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

STAY FILLED WITH THE SPIRIT AND LIVE IN THE WORD

For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body… and have been all made to drink into one Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:13).

Many sing, “Fill my cup Lord, I lift it up Lord, come and quench this thirsting of my soul; bread of Heaven, feed me till I want no more....” Such a song, however religious, is born out of complete ignorance of God’s Word. First, the Lord Jesus is the Bread of Heaven. He said in John 6:35, “...I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.”

Also, in Matthew 4:4, He said, “...Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” Therefore, when you received Jesus Christ, when you were born again, you received the true "Bread" from heaven. You received the One who satisfies. Secondly, when you received the Holy Ghost, you received the “drink” that quenches the thirst of every soul.

Our opening scripture says, “For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body… and have been all made to drink into one Spirit” (1 Corinthians 12:13). This means you not only receive the Spirit, you drink the Spirit. He’s God’s answer to the thirst of the human spirit. The question, therefore, is, why are many still thirsty and singing, “Come and quench this thirsting of my soul,” having received the Holy Spirit?

If you’re thirsty, drink of the Spirit. In other words, be filled with the Spirit! You’re supposed to be constantly filled with the Spirit. Ephesians 5:18-21 tells you how; read the entire reference. Staying filled with the Spirit and living in the Word is the answer. It’s the best life.

That’s how you dominate sickness, failure, lack and the circumstances of life. That’s how you walk over and above Satan, his cohorts and their corrupting influences. That’s how to live in the reality of divine supply and spiritual satisfaction.

Don’t cry for what you already have. Stay drunk with the Spirit. Keep living in the Word. That’s where your glory is; your results will keep increasing, and you’ll walk in blessings only. Hallelujah!

PRAYER / CONFESSION

Dear Father, thank you for the Lord Jesus Christ, the Bread of Heaven, and for the Holy Spirit, who satisfies my soul. As I drink of the Spirit continually and stay in the Word, my life is refreshed, strengthened and established in divine supply and supernatural results, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

CONSCIOUSNESS OF HIS INDWELLING PRESENCE

But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you… (1 John 2:27).

Many people keep searching for a second anointing, a third anointing, a “double anointing,” and more. Yet the truth is simple: if you have received the Holy Spirit, you already have the anointing. What you need is to put to work or activate what you already have.

Some have been taught to believe that beyond receiving the Holy Spirit, there’s another special anointing that must come upon them in order to achieve certain results in life and ministry. They fast and pray, not because the Spirit is absent but because they assume what they have isn’t enough.

Then, when miracles begin to happen, they conclude that the “special anointing” has finally come. But the more you study the Scriptures, the clearer it is that such claims cannot be substantiated; they’re assumptions, not divine truths. A simple observation exposes the flaw: many who claim they have received this “special anointing” still return again and again, seeking the same experience.

This shows that nothing new was received because there was nothing new to receive. You cannot receive what you already have. If someone has not received the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit is ministered to them, they can receive Him. But if they already have the Holy Spirit, there’s no separate “extra anointing” coming from heaven that’s different from the Spirit they already received. The anointing is not something to be pursued in levels. The anointing is the Holy Spirit in you. When this becomes clear, the pursuit shifts from chasing experiences to walking in the consciousness of the Spirit’s indwelling presence.

Trust what you’ve received: the Holy Spirit in His fullness: “For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him” (John 3:34). Live in the light of God’s Word; act on the truth, and results will follow.
