How do you know if your chicken breast is actually fresh? 🐔

It's one of the most important questions in the kitchen - and not everyone knows what to look for. Here's a quick guide:

Colour - Fresh chicken breast should be a pale pink. Avoid anything that looks grey or has dark patches.
Smell - Fresh chicken has almost no odour. If it smells sour, acidic, or "off" in any way, trust your nose and don't use it.
Texture - It should feel firm and slightly moist. If it's slimy or sticky even after rinsing, it's past its best.
Packaging - Check the use-by date, and make sure there's no excessive liquid pooling in the tray — that's a sign it's been sitting too long.
