Where Zaatar still tastes like Zaatar 🇱🇧
There’s something unmistakable about the aroma of real zaatar, the kind that fills your kitchen as you spread it on warm dough, bringing back memories of home. That depth of flavor can be hard to find today, especially when many blends rely on oregano in place of the delicate thyme that gives zaatar its soul.
This zaatar tells a different story. We use the flowering tips of wild thyme, handpicked at the end of spring when the herb is most fragrant. After being sun-dried and gently ground, it’s blended with vibrant sumac and lightly roasted sesame, creating a mix that’s bold yet balanced.
It’s made slowly, by hand, in the same way it’s been made for generations - not for mass production, but for those who still recognize the taste of something real.
