Thomas finds a lot white grubs during our tree plantation. Their population is exploding due to the rapidly declining population of birds in our part of the world. Birds feed on the scarab beetles , their adult form, keeping their population in check. Bird population is declining because of the loss of habitat- their shrubs that bordered all farms.
