I have been staying in Jerusalem during this war (as opposed to the other million wars we have had in the last few years). There has not been snow this year in Jerusalem. I thought that was sad until this war started. I had plans to go see snow somewhere this year. A few months ago, in between wars, I did manage to see snow on Mount Hermon from Tiberias. So I guess that counts. But I have to say that it has been beautiful in Jerusalem lately. And this moment in particular was especially beautiful.

I am going to enjoy the beauty of this time of year in Israel. Even when there are days when the air quality is the worst in the world. Even when it's summer in the winter. Even with all the construction, causing more dust and traffic, making it almost impossible to get anywhere. And even with the possibility of war again. It's the only option.
