As our new Farm Shop Manager, James will be helping bring everything you love about Trough to life, from our carefully chosen local produce and farm shop favourites to the little details that make every visit feel special.

At Trough, we’re passionate about celebrating great food, supporting local producers and creating a place where the community can come together - and we’re excited to have James on board as we continue to grow.

Supplier Spotlight: Moon Roast Coffee ☕🤎

Good coffee starts with good people, and we're delighted to be working with Moon Roast Coffee, a local supplier based in Alresford, Hampshire.

From the first cup in the morning to a coffee shared with friends, we're proud to serve coffee from a business right here in our local community.

Our team recently enjoyed a dedicated coffee training day with Moon Roast, learning more about the coffee and perfecting their skills to bring you the best possible cup.

🎉 TROUGH IS TWO! 🎉

Two years ago, we opened the doors to Trough Farm Shop for the very first time, with a simple idea: to create a place where good food, local produce and farm life could come together.

Fast forward two years and Trough has grown into so much more 🤍

We’re now growing and selling our own produce from the Allotment and Kitchen Garden, welcoming you to sit and enjoy food inside, serving up our Hampshire Smashburgers at Graze, stocking some of our favourite local producers and filling the shelves with plenty of good things to take home.

There have been weekend breakfasts, long lunches, muddy wellies, coffees with friends, burgers in the sunshine, seasonal produce, fresh cakes, farm walks and countless familiar faces popping through the doors.

And that’s what we love most about Trough - it’s become a place for people to come together.

So, thank you to everyone who has visited, eaten, shopped, supported, recommended, worked with and helped us grow Trough over the last two years.

Happy 2nd birthday, to us! 🌿
