Meet the Vegan Beef & Red W**e Pie, the first of our Winter Bake range.

Tender vegan 'beef' slow-cooked in a rich Cabernet Sauvignon sauce with sweet carrots and silverskin onions, all wrapped up in our golden, palm oil-free shortcrust. We've been taste testing all week and honestly? It's ridiculously good.

AND your favourite Cheeze & Onion is back in stock 🧀🧅 Soft potato, sweet onion and our homemade cashew cheeze sauce. You know the drill, it never hangs around.

We're only making a limited batch of both, so don't sleep on these. 🌱

Mushroom season is officially here 🍄‍🟫 Our Mushroom & Roast Garlic Pie is the one for October evenings: earthy mushrooms, sweet slow-roasted garlic, cashew cream and a sprinkle of thyme, all wrapped in our palm oil-free shortcrust. Straight from the freezer to the oven to your sofa. 🥧🌱

We baked 200 Jalapeno Mac, Cheeze & Bacun Pies yesterday and they were gone in a few hours. Thank you, genuinely.

Every Magpye pie starts here.

Premium quality organic flour and vegan butter rubbed down to a rough crumb. It looks like breadcrumbs, but this is where good shortcrust is won or lost. Get it wrong here and no amount of filling will save you.

Six British Pie Awards later, we're fairly confident we've got it right.

Autumn is rolling in, and this is what we’ve been making for it.

Lentil & Root Veg Hotpot filling. Lentils, carrots, peas, swede and a gravy worth the wait. Vegan, palm oil free, and about to be wrapped in flaky shortcrust.

Our pastry recipe is older than most of the pie industry.

Traditional all butter shortcrust, made the way it’s been made for hundreds of years. Rubbed by hand. Rested overnight. Baked the next morning. No shortcuts, because there aren’t any that work.

The only thing we changed is the butter. Ours is vegan with shea butter as the main fat, not palm oil. Organic Shipton Mill flour does the rest.

Most pies you’ll eat were made with pastry someone else bought in. Ours never has been. 🌱🥧
