I really want to applaud VDM's lawyers for being so loyal, proactive, and for guiding him right. 🙌

I remember when he started without his legal team. Back then, during the Jenisglow era, VDM himself was really oppressed by the powers that be. He also had serious issues with Iyabo ojo and Tonto D**e era. They were quick to arrest him, lock him up and he had lawsuits left, right, and center.

But the moment he was able to put his legal team of lawyers in place, I noticed a huge difference. The unnecessary arrests, lockups, and jailings reduced significantly. The court cases also calmed down.

And just yesterday, Barry. Deji Adeyanju came out with that disclaimer, telling the public and everyone concerned that the said ordeal was fake and not from his verified page. That made me even prouder of the team.

That's why I'm making this post. I truly appreciate them and want to thank them for the good work. Please keep it up, because we know VDM has many enemies. All he needs to do is trust in God and rely on his lawyers when these cases come around.

Let's give it up for them! 👏👏👏

Part 2...Sahara Reporters & pushed Narrative

My view on Sahara Reporters hasn’t changed one bit. Throughout the whole Ononuga and VDM case, they kept posting and reposting that VDM had been “caught ” using voice clips of the president and claiming he was to be jailed without any investigation. They pushed that narrative relentlessly.

This is exactly why I made so many videos about them in the past. They’ve become completely partisan and painfully one-sided when it comes to certain news. Clearly, Sahara Reporters is no fan of VDM, so they’ll go to any length release fake news, cook up propaganda just to turn people’s minds against him.

That said, I’m not here to convince you to love or hate them. I’m just sharing my own experience. I did a video on this before, and it’s still very relevant to what happened yesterday Sahara Reporters kept posting and reposting stories that were not confirmed, verified, or true. Where you consume your news is entirely up to you.

I’ll go through that video again. Watch it and let me know what you still think of Sahara Reporters.

Yesterday was Children's Day, but many Nigerians took to social media to express their frustration and pain. I'm still shocked that the kidnapped children remain in captivity with no word from the First Lady or the President.

The teacher who was beheaded died in vain no presidential visit to the family. It's truly unfortunate.

At this rate, it's clear we have to look out for ourselves and protect our own. Mothers, pray for your children and guide them the best you can.

My heart goes out to the children still in captivity I wish them a safe return.

People close to the powers that be often fail to tell the government the truth. They praise the government even when their own work falls below standard.

They make the government see advocates and activists as enemies, spread propaganda, and use state security or political mechanisms to illegally arrest and detain those who point out society’s ills. These people should stop, serve the people, and advise their leaders to do what is right.

Instead of calling for VDM’s arrest, Ononauga should encourage the president to provide security, electoral reform, and other social amenities not report to the president about who is for or against him, nor suggest anyone’s arrest.

Just finished watching Very Dark Man's video, and honestly? I'm super proud and super happy and here is my analysis ❤️.

In my lifetime, I never thought I'd see someone actively encouraging Nigerian youths to participate in elections not for sharing money, collecting rice, bags of salt, ankara with a candidate's face, or organizing young people to rig votes.

This one is different. This is about political education and genuine political participation.

For a long time in Nigeria, many people became apolitical (losing interest in politics ). They lost interest in politics because no one educated them, or because of bad administration, corruption, and constant malpractices.

But in this video, he's encouraging young people to come out and vote. And the sweetest part? He's not telling them who to vote for. Instead, he says:

👉 Go through their manifestos.
👉 Look at all the leaders.
👉 Choose the one you believe will make a positive impact.
👉 Choose the one who won't embezzle your money.
👉 Choose the one who will bring development so you can enjoy your society.

I love this so much. That is the standard. That is what real political participation looks like.

Let's keep showing up. Let's keep voting. Let's keep demanding better.

In the last few days, we've seen all sorts of young people coming at VDM, accusing him of one thing or the other. First was phyna then King Michty.

All I can say is I'm glad that in spite of all this, despite the banter, VDM has still managed to continue passing his message. And that's the core thing that keeps us going a voice reminding us of the coming elections.

It keeps us focused. It reminds us that election is coming soon. We need to weigh all sides of the options. No matter the distractions we face, we must stay focused think carefully, process well.

Which political party do I want to vote for? What's in their manifesto? Who are the candidates?

This is an opportunity for us to do a lot of digging, so that by the time election comes, your mind is already set you already know who to vote for.

Lots of distractions will come during the election, but our role as citizens is to remain focused and ensure we work toward a free and fair election.
