This is Vera, she is a leghorn and lays lovely white eggs. Vera came as a rescue and didnt have many feathers but has settled in nicely and is back to her feathery self. By nature, leghorns can be quite nervous and Vera is very timid. Vera is often seen with Priscilla foraging.

Here are Henrietta (black bantam) and Esmae (white lace wyandotte bantam).
Henrietta is super vocal and sings alot throughout the day, she has got alot more friendly since moving in and enjoys a pamper. Esmae runs with the big girls, she thinks she is one of them and tries nightly to go in their coop and makes a fuss when I move her. She will often be seen running around especially when it's sunflower seed time.

Please only wash your eggs before eating them. Washing takes off the protective layer meaning they'll be prone to getting bacteria in them.

If you do decide that you want to wash them please refrigerate straight away, then consume within 2 weeks.

The ducks and chickens all get along very well.
Here are the Muscovy ducks, Flo, Dumpling, Trevor (she's a girl) and Chickoletta with Lilac the hen in tow, all enjoying free ranging.
Flo adores humans and loves tummy tickles, Dumpling loves being fed by hand, Chickoletta is quite shy and Trevor likes making herself heard especially in the mornings when her coop is opened.

This is Butt Nugget. BN got her name as when she moved in she didn't have any tail feathers due to being pecked by her old flock. BN is happy pottering around doing her own thing and likes to sneak in to the little birds coop for sleep overs.

Here is cheeky Sylvia. A rhode island red hybrid. Sylvia is a loving hen but full of mischief. The first one out of the gate to come outside and loves exploring each coop with the hope she will find a tasty treat that wasn't spotted by the rest.

Esme and Venus were both rehomed to us. We love being able to offer homes to chickens who need a new place to roost.
