THE FRENCH DIP: slow-cooked Macknade brisket, melted Aarewasser Swiss cheese, caramelised onions & Dijon in a baguette, with rosemary & sea salt sautéed potatoes and beef broth for dipping. Proper comfort food.

AMERICAN PANCAKES: apple & cinnamon jam, toasted granola, fresh berries & whipped vanilla yoghurt. A little stack of happiness.

Sweet or savoury, which one are you going for? 👀

World Meningitis Day is a day to remember, reflect and come together.

It’s a chance to remember those we’ve lost, stand with those living with the long term impact of meningitis, and help shine a light on the road ahead.

This year, our team have joined the Light the Road Ahead campaign, lighting up the store and their homes to show their support and help raise awareness of meningitis.

It’s something that means a lot to us here at Macknade, and we’re so proud of everyone who took part. 🩷

A little taste of autumn has arrived in our Cafè

Whipped goat’s cheese, roasted butternut squash, local apple, caramelised onion and toasted walnuts, all on Gilda Bakery focaccia.

Sweet, savoury, creamy, crunchy and very much the kind of thing we want to be eating all season!

Save this one for your next Faversham food stop, send it to your brunch date, or pop in and try it for yourself.

You're going to want to make this...

Rosehips have over 20 times the amount of vitamin C as oranges and are a great source of vitamins A, D, and E too. They also contain anti-inflammatory properties, making them a real super food as we head into Autumn.

Here's a few of our favourite ways to use this super easy syrup!
Drizzled on yoghurt or porridge
Made into a spritz with a bit of fizz
Over pancakes
A spoonful straight from the jar!

Drop a 🌹 in the comments, and we'll send you the recipe!

We hate to say it, but Christmas is now officially looming.

91 days to go, and Stefano has already chosen his favourite.

A bold move, given the circumstances. 🦃
