Just like our motto will become a way of life. Well it was never called Kapowsauce, just one of many sauces my father would make. I decided to experiment further, with my idea of creating a sweet sensatio
n followed by a spicy kick (best of both worlds). In fact this began back in school tuck shop days. I wanted a piece of the action, but selling crisps and sweets was boring. I needed something that was full of flavour, vibrant in colour and would blast the taste buds. Just like that, it was created. Most kids walked to school with a back pack but I also had a huge Tupperware container filled to the brim with chicken wings. Everyone was surprised (and still are) by the sweet sensation followed by a spicy kick. It’s safe to say there was always a line of people at every break time, I guess they were hooked. Years later at a friends BBQ, I decided to walk with the sauce and reminisce about school days. My friends were impressed and encouraged me to take it seriously and bottle the sauce to sell. Many names were thrown around that day, then just like that the brand Kapowsauce was born. We decided to take it to the general public at a food market in South Bank London , the feedback was excellent. So next we attended food festivals and farmers/artisan markets that we still attend today. We finally found a place in the market that we can share our passion and continue to expand, with an ever growing brand the best is yet to come.
