🛑CAF Presi Patrice Motsepe 🗣️: "I'm told that the Senegalese are going to appeal, which is very important. Every one of the 54 nations in Africa has a right to pursue their appeals and their advantages not only at the highest level in Africa, in CAF but also the highest body which is the CAS (Court of Arbitration for Sports). It stems from a manifestly erroneous interpretation of the regulations, leading to a grossly illegal and profoundly unjust decision."
"By questioning a result achieved at the end of a match that was regularly played to its conclusion and won in compliance with the rules of the game, the CAF is seriously damaging its own credibility as well as the legitimate trust that African people place in continental sports institutions."
"Senegal cannot tolerate an administrative decision that erases commitment, merit, and sporting excellence. Senegal unequivocally rejects this unjustified attempt at dispossession."
"Senegal is calling for an independent international investigation into suspected corruption within the CAF's governing bodies."
"Furthermore, Senegal will use all appropriate legal avenues, including before the competent international judicial bodies, to ensure that justice is served and that the primacy of the sporting result is restored."
"The Government takes this opportunity to reiterate the nation's solidarity with the Senegalese citizens detained in Morocco fol
