A little peek at the lettuce beds tonight. 🌱

The cool weather crops are loving these cold nights.

You can find us and other great vendors at the Powassan Farmers' Market this weekend! We’ll have: small samples of our new hydroponic mizuna and arugula, certified seed potatoes (various beautiful varieties), big healthy tomato and pepper plants and much more 😃

Just a reminder that our plant sale starts this Sunday (9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.) at Deer Valley Gardens 🌱
35 Oakwood Road in beautiful Powassan.

The greenhouse is full of healthy and strong tomato and pepper plants, along with a few other garden favourites ready for their new homes.

We have green, orange, red, jalapeño, and a few other varieties of peppers.

The tomato line up includes Sakura, Sun Gold, Amish Paste, San Marzano, Bush Beefsteak, Brandywine, Better Boy, Alice’s Dream, Cherokee Purple and a new fun micro dwarf orange cherry!

Everything is grown right here in our custom pesticide and herbicide free soil with fresh worm castings from our farm 💚

One week in and our lettuce seedlings made it through the -2°C 🌱

A little frost cover and faith in frost hearty produce. Spring farming in Northern Ontario keeps us on our toes, but so far so good! It’s time to plant some produce 😁

🌱🚜 We’re excited to officially open next Sunday at Deer Valley Gardens! 🚜🌱

We have your beautiful tomato plants, pepper plants, herbs, pepper plugs (just $2), and more. They are all grown in our quality soil enriched with fresh worm castings from our red wrigglers🪱

🥔 We’ll also have potatoes available for planting to help get your garden season off to a great start.

We’re still learning how to use this greenhouse to its fullest… and once we finish potting up the last of these trays, we might just need another one 🤪
