Introducing Beat the Heat at County Bounty

We are making a small change to keep things comfortable for everyone this summer.

Staff will be on site from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm to help you with your full market shopping.

From 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm, or until sold out, we switch to Beat the Heat mode. With no power and no air conditioning in the afternoon sun, our staff step away, and the stand becomes sweet corn only, self serve. Payment is cash or e-transfer.

So plan your visit around what works for you. Come early for the full selection, or swing by in the afternoon for fresh sweet corn on your own schedule.

We drive the county, you get the bounty.

📍 6150 Malden Road, LaSalle
🕙 Open 10 till 4

New potatoes are coming from Bradley’s — and the wait is almost over.

These early-season gems are harvested young, before full maturity, which gives them their signature thin skin, waxy texture, and naturally sweeter flavour. No peeling needed — just scrub and cook.

Why they’re worth the wait:
— Lower in starch, lighter on digestion
— Rich in Vitamin C and potassium
— Naturally low in fat and calories
— Incredibly versatile — boil, roast, toss in butter with fresh herbs

Essex County grown. Field fresh. Available soon at County Bounty.

📍 6150 Malden Road, LaSalle

Opening July 2 — Thursday through Sunday, 10am–4pm

The Gentle Romance of Pollination

In gardens, pollinators are love’s messengers—each delicate visit a kiss that brings forth new life. A bee dancing across a bloom, a butterfly tracing patterns through petals, a hummingbird suspended mid-air—these are nature’s poetry in motion.

Without them, our gardens would be silent. With them, a simple patch of earth becomes alive with magic and purpose.

So pause. Watch. Let their gentle work remind you that some of life’s most beautiful moments go quietly unnoticed.

Peach season is coming soon!

06/12/2026

Peach season is on its way?

Medel’s peaches are on their way to County Bounty, and they are worth every bit of the wait. Juicy, fragrant, and perfectly tree-ripened. There’s nothing quite like the first local peach of summer!

Mark your calendars: we open July 2.

🌽 Sweet corn season isn’t just a moment, it’s a series of moments.

The team at Drouillard’s farm succession plants their sweet corn so there’s always a fresh crop coming in, not one big rush and then nothing. Staggered plantings mean peak-sweetness week after week, the way summer should be.

Worth the wait. Worth the row.

Why shop local when produce is in season?

When local produce is at its peak, the grocery store just can’t compete.

Our fruit and veg is picked ripe and sold fresh — not harvested early, shipped across the country, and left to sit on a shelf for days. That means better flavour, more nutrients, and produce that actually tastes the way it should.

Shopping local also means your money stays in the community, supports nearby growers, and cuts down on the food miles that come with mass-produced groceries.

This season, skip the supermarket. Taste the difference fresh and local makes. ✨

Opening day July 2.
