Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours!

As we head into the Thanksgiving long weekend, we want to take a moment to say thank you.

Thank you to our loyal customers who continue to walk through our doors, support our family business, shop local, and trust us to put good food on your tables. Every visit, every recommendation to a friend, and every bit of support means more to us than you know.

Being part of this community for the past three years has been something special, and we never take your support for granted. You’re the reason we get to keep doing what we love, and we’re incredibly grateful for each and every one of you.

The speckled sow said it perfectly! Full means just that, full. Nothing else. We would accept everyone if we could. We are working long hours to clear out the fridge and fit more in. Give us a call and we will always try our hardest to squeeze you in. But sometimes, full means full

We are very very full! Like full full.
Our back up cooler. Full.
Hang only cooler friends down the road. Very full.
Other neighbouring shops. Full.

Saying “no” doesn’t mean we don’t want your business. It doesn’t mean we’re picking favourites. It doesn’t mean we don’t like you. We have literally HEARD IT ALL this year.
It simply means WE ARE FULL.

We are a small shop that prides ourselves on good quality work. Proper hanging conditions within our facility, cleanliness, happiness, friendliness, and getting your meat back to you in a timely manner. We want a 7-10 day turn around time max. We don’t want animals hanging longer than that for various reasons.

Matt is working is ass off. The girls are wrapping like little elves on Christmas Eve, Britt’s on phone & paperwork duty. We are putting in the hours and work. All the shops across BC are putting in the hours right now.

At the end of the day, as a responsible hunter, your harvest is your responsibility. Think before you pull the trigger. Can’t get into a shop anywhere?? Better sharpen your knives and get to cuttin’.

This is an insane time of year for ALL butcher shops. Have some grace, respect and decancy.
Being an as***le isn’t going to move you to the top of the list anywhere😉

Keep up the good work, but think ahead. We have a few more weeks of mayhem ahead of us.
We should have room again in a few days.

We’ve put together a Locally Raised Langley Beef Box featuring beef from our very own cows, raised close to home and with plenty of care.

For $450, you’ll get a variety of cuts to keep you covered for everything from quick weeknight dinners to weekend BBQs, including:

• 2 × bone broth

October is almost here, which means the holiday entertaining season is officially getting started.

If you’re hosting Thanksgiving this year and looking for an easy appetizer that looks beautiful, tastes even better and gives you one less thing to worry about, let us handle the charcuterie.

Our charcuterie boards are made with a selection of our house-made deli meats, quality meats, local cheeses and all the extras that make a board worth gathering around.

They’re perfect for Thanksgiving, holiday gatherings, family get-togethers or simply having friends over.
Just a heads up …we do require notice for charcuterie orders. These are made to order, so we need a little time to put everything together properly.

Three years.

Somehow, The Butcher has officially been part of this community for 3 years.

What started as a dream has turned into a shop full of good food, great customers, local farmers, a whole lot of meat & probably way too many conversations about steak.

We’re incredibly grateful for every person who has walked through our doors, supported our family, shopped local, told a friend about us or simply stopped by to say hi.

Thank you, Langley. Seriously.

We couldn’t do this without you, and we’re pretty damn lucky to call this community home.

Here’s to year four.
