DRYDEN — Four people were taken into custody following an investigation which police say has disrupted drug trafficking activity in the Wabigoon Lake Ojibway Nation.

Treaty Three Police Service (T3PS) reports its officers and Dryden OPP were conducting a RIDE program on Oct. 2 2026 while actively searching for two wanted individuals.

Three men from Wabigoon Lake Ojibway Nation were all charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.

One was charged with resisting arrest and three counts of failure to comply with a release order, and another was charged with two counts of failure to comply with probation conditions.

Two of the accused were held in custody on outstanding warrants and face additional charges, while one was released pending a future court date.
