Not all dairy is made equally.
The milk we carry is some of the best. Upper Canada Creamery, or Biemond Dairy is a family-owned, certified organic dairy farm and creamery located near Iroquois, Ontario, specializing in top-quality, organic, grass-fed dairy products made from their own milk. Their herd is A2, which means more digestible than most, and folks that have been lactose intolerant in the past can often consume their products.
We offer their milk in both 1L & 2L options. It’s cream top whole milk, and one of the most common comments from customers is that this is how they remember milk tasting - the way it should be.
We also carry their cream top yogurt, and pinconning style cheese in all 4 varieties. Plain, Dill & Onion, Garlic & Parsley, and Jalapeno. (There is also an option to pre-order the curds in the same flavours)
Seasonally they also have eggnog. And we will certainly be stocking this starting mid November.
MC Dairy is the other creamery that we occasionally stock. While I don’t know the farmers personally, they make a pretty darn good product. We stock their Beetroot & Honey yogurt (the prettiest pink you ever did see), their 40% heavy cream, pressed cottage cheese, and we bring in their grass fed cultured butter as well.
