It’s been quite the Spring to say the least. Thank you for your patience if you’ve been awaiting a reply from TAF. 💕 I think I’m almost caught up although this year will not be the year we’d hope for in terms of producing some new farm food services. 😔

That being said, if you’re in the Edmonton area, I’ll be doing scheduled egg deliveries. If you’re interested in the subscription service or need to stock up on eggs without commitment please send us a message for details. I’ll be in the city as soon as tomorrow. 🥚 🍳 😋

Some residents have started returning home and roads are open! 🙌🏽

Thank you to firefighters, farmers, and all those working around the clock, helping to get these fires under control! 💕 🙏

Deliveries will resume as normal today. I’ll be reaching out to everyone throughout the day to confirm. 😊

!! Quick update: regarding deliveries scheduled for tomorrow, I’ll keep everyone posted. With all the road and highway closures, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to get anywhere efficiently. I’m still planning on it but conditions are changing rapidly. I’ll keep everyone posted. 🙏

Thank you for the calls and messages of concern and support 💕. We have not been evacuated due to the multiple fires going on. They’re close but we are not in the path of the fires. The highways remain closed. People are still displaced. I continue to see and hear the choppers and water bombers. Praying the winds stay down today!

Dijon crusted rack of lamb… this is by far my favourite! 😋
The meat is buttery, mild, and so tender! 🤤
The coating gives it subtle seasoning with hints of Dijon, complimenting the meat’s flavour. 🍽️
This particular set of cuts do not have the ribs attached. Perhaps not as showy, but you don’t eat that part anyway! 😆 This dish is really hard to beat! 💕

Baked lamb shoulder steak with nugget potatoes and grape tomatoes. 😋

Leg and shoulder are both full of flavour as they’re working muscles. The leg is leaner so I chose the shoulder steak for this one, although its’s typically slow roasted to achieve tenderness. These steaks came out great, not dried out nor tough. 🥩

I made a stock base with onion, garlic, Worcestershire, herbs, and spices.

Quick to prepare and delish… this one’s do-over worthy! 🍽️🍷
