of texture, subtle heat, deep undertones of savoury caramelized garlic and onion, and layers of sesame, almonds, and soy extracted in oil over a low heat.

We’ve been having a blast connecting with small businesses owners. It’s hard to believe we are in almost 60 shops when only three months ago we were in fewer than 5!

Our goal is to produce a sauce so good that it gives you yet another reason to stay away from the big box stores. A sauce so good it keeps you going back to your local butcher shop, fish market, cheese shop, bakery and local gourmet grocery stores and cafes.

Newfound obsession has been incorporating our Chili Crisp into marinades. My go to right now is blowing my mind - the kids love it, I love it - it’s the perfect way to welcome summer weather and BBQ season:

Soy or tamari
Agave or honey
Mirin
Sake
Chili crisp
Chicken thighs

Find the ratio that works best for you, but with these ingredients you can’t go wrong - as it cooks a lot of these ingredients caramelize so nicely. Please try this and report back!

Earlier this week I dropped off a case of Super Magic Taste in Erin.

I have probably been into The Tin Roof Cafe 2 times a week since the day they opened their doors. It feels like a home away from home. Everyone is friendly, they have excellent coffee and they bring the community together. Running into friends while getting great coffee is highly under rated. It brings such a good dose of happiness into your day.

Exciting news! Our Chili Crisp is now available at Karma Co-op] !!!

I spent a lot of formative years in the Annex in Toronto - the bulk of my early 20s - it’s where I met my partner, and spent many days and evenings. It’s a very special place to me!

Part of this experience was also walking through back streets to the tucked away Karma Co-op] which always has amazing products at reasonable prices, and is a staple to the community.

It’s for these reasons that I’m so happy to share that our Chili Crisp is now available on the shelves of Karma Co-Op to all of our Annex customers!!!
