Crapaud Fire Department
We all know that fire fighting isn’t ALL about medical calls, structure fires, or accidents. It is also the community involvement that keeps us going between those calls.
Each year, we host a community pancake breakfast fundraiser, with all donations going to purchase equipment. This is our favourite event, as we get to interact with the community to say thank you for the support each year.
We also volunteer at local events such as the Crapaud Tractor Pulls each year, to help keep thousands of spectators safe.
Each year at Christmas, we dress in our bunker gear and take Santa through our communities to bring a smile to children’s faces, while seeing that magical sparkle in their eyes. It fills our hearts.
All of those events you will see below in our picture.
If we were to win, we would put our funds into supporting our members in getting new bunker gear, to help keep us safe when the alarms go off.
