We’re in the final stretch - just two months until summer break 🌞

To all our amazing parents: take a moment to look back at how far your kids have come. This year wasn’t easy. Many of them stepped into brand new territory, faced challenges they’d never seen before, and kept going anyway.

There were meltdowns. There were big wins. There were long, exhausting days where it felt like too much. But through it all—they showed up, they tried, and they grew.

And so did you.

We’re almost there. Keep encouraging them, keep cheering them on, and don’t forget to give yourself credit too. These final weeks matter—but so does recognizing everything that’s already been accomplished.

School is out, and many parents are wondering how to keep little ones busy while still enjoying some family time. Here are a few simple and fun activities to try during March Break:

👟 Take a family walk outdoors – explore a local park or trail and enjoy the fresh air together.
🏊 Visit your local rec centre – swimming, skating, or drop-in play programs are great for burning off energy.
🌱 Start planting seeds indoors – kids love watching their plants grow as spring approaches.
📚 Visit the library – let your child pick a few books and create a cozy reading time at home.
🎨 Have a craft afternoon – decorate flower pots, paint rocks, or build something fun from recycled materials.

STEAM = Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math - and it can start right in your kitchen or living room 🏠

Here are EASY ways to spark it:

🧪 Science – Try a baking soda + vinegar experiment. Ask: What do you think will happen?
💻 Technology – Let them explore age-appropriate coding apps or educational games.
🏗️ Engineering – Build the tallest tower using Lego, blocks, or even toilet paper rolls.
🎨 Arts – Mix colours, create patterns, design their own inventions on paper.
➕ Math – Count groceries, measure ingredients, compare prices at the store.

The secret?
