The crochet pattern that started it all, Mabel Chicken! 🐔 I have a couple sad, lumpy Mabels scattered around the house - they're the first Ami I ever made.

I'm back on crocheting little void chickens after a pretty big break from making them - I don't stock these at my markets, you can only find them at Shop Makers Victoria !

Have you seen my drawstring froggy dice bag crochet pattern yet? These are always super popular at whatever event I bring them to!

Recently, I've been preferring to make them with little snaps rather than the drawstring tongue for easier use and it's been a popular modification!

As we head into fall, the end of my market season comes near!! That means it's time for another calendar.

These events will be your last chance to get yourself a crochet friend directly from me until spring 2027.

I will be opting out of most winter/holiday markets this season to allow myself some rest and time to tackle some personal projects (crochet patterns and other hobbies) and will defrost for next year's fantasy faire and pride season in mid-late spring. 🍂

Spooky season is nearly upon us... 👻

What does that mean? It means I've unleashed a small army of squeaky ghosts upon the world for a limited time!!!

Right now, you can find these sweet little palm-sized poltergeists at Shop Makers Victoria. If you see them, give them a squish.

I will also be stocking a small number of them at each of my Halloween markets in October (new calendar post to follow soon).

The Curious Crow 👀🐦‍⬛

I participated in this adorable pattern test by ｡･ﾟﾟ･♡ 𝐒𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐚 ♡･ﾟﾟ･｡ recently and today is release day!! This little cutie pie works up SO quickly, and anyone who knows me knows I struggle with cut felt detailing - the instructions for the eyes in this pattern, however, made it a breeze, while also giving my little crow friend the most bombastic side eye in all the land.

We're at Mission Renaissance Faire this weekend!! Advance ticket sales have closed but a limited amount are available at the box office day-of. Find us in Errendwick near the main entrance and the Frothy Fox Pub!

We'll have some crochet companions big and small, whimsical wearables including jester collars and witch hats, plus some new mini banners and felt ornaments to decorate your walls with!

I'll be dressed as a pirate Friday, strawberry fairy Saturday, and forest-dwelling fae on Sunday.

Looking forward to saying hi and chatting with friends old and new from the 18-20! Will we see you there?

I ventured out of my comfort zone a hair and entered a project of mine (a hare) for the first time ever - it took home first place for crochet dolls at Saanich Fair this year!

Very proud of how far my crochet skills have progressed in the three years I've been at it. I'm going to keep pushing myself further and continue exploring mixed medium projects with crochet as the primary craft involved as I've been really enjoying that kind of creation lately.

Thanks to the fiber arts community (online and locally) for being such a great support over these years and helping me keep going when I wanted to quit (right at the beginning when I wasn't immediately perfect at crochet lol).

Finally got a chance to try out Zia 's dark elf Jovie mod, and I'm a huge fan!

Hand-painted star button, painted ear colouration, and lots of extra bits and bobs attached to make this guy shine (literally).

He found a new home almost immediately at Vic RenFaire Society this past weekend. Thank you to the person who took him home! 💚
