One partnership. Greater access. Stronger communities.

We are proud to announce our partnership with Grameenphone, bringing essential telecom products and digital connectivity closer to Bangladesh's readymade garment workforce through Apon Bazaar's worker-centric retail network.

By integrating Grameenphone's services into Apon Bazaar outlets through a shop-in-shop retail model, workers can now conveniently access new SIM activations, SIM replacements, data packs, voice bundles, combo packs, scratch cards, and other essential telecom services—all from a trusted retail destination.

This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to making digital access more inclusive, convenient, and impactful for industrial workers across Bangladesh.

The partnership agreement was signed by Mohammad Shareef Mahmood Khan, Head of Sales and Distribution at Grameenphone, and Saif Rashid, Founder & Managing Director of Apon Bazaar.

The signing ceremony was honored by the presence of Farha Naz Zaman (Chief Marketing Officer), Sk. Iftekhar Ahmed (Head of Distribution), and Md. Nasiruzzaman Choudhury (Head of Sales Planning) from Grameenphone. Joining from Apon Bazaar were Yasir Arafat (Director of Business), Rezwanul Ahasan Rupom (Operations Lead), Kaniz Ahmed (Manager, External & Corporate Affairs), and Zinia Ibnat (Project Coordinator).

Together, we are making trusted connectivity more accessible and taking another meaningful step toward greater digital and financial inclusion for Bangladesh's industrial workforce.

We were honored to host Zahedul Amin, Managing Director at LightCastle Partners, for an insightful session at Dialogue Den, where he shared valuable perspectives on capital management, SME growth, and the future of sustainable business in Bangladesh.

The discussion explored one of the most pressing challenges for growing businesses: access to and effective management of capital. Zahedul highlighted that sustainable growth is not driven by funding alone, but by strategic capital allocation, operational efficiency, and long-term value creation, especially for SMEs that form the backbone of Bangladesh's economy.

A major focus of the session was the true meaning of sustainability. He emphasized that sustainability extends far beyond compliance or certification. It requires responsible resource utilization, environmental stewardship, and business models that create lasting economic, social, and environmental value. Without protecting our environment and using resources efficiently, genuine sustainability cannot be achieved.

The conversation also shed light on the future of Bangladesh's RMG sector, where meaningful transformation depends on stronger collaboration among businesses, researchers, development partners, financial institutions, and policymakers. Research-driven decision-making and ecosystem-wide partnerships are essential to accelerate industrial decarbonization, improve resource efficiency, and build a globally competitive, resilient apparel industry.

A heartfelt thank you to Zahedul Amin for sharing his knowledge, experience, and vision with our community. We also extend our gratitude to everyone who joined the session and contributed to the engaging discussions.

Two Years. One Remarkable Journey.

Today, we celebrate Kaniz Ahmed on completing 2 years with the Apon family!

Kaniz joined Apon in 2024 as part of our Future Leader Program — a programme designed to identify and nurture the next generation of purpose-driven professionals. From day one, she brought curiosity, commitment, and a genuine belief in Apon's mission of uplifting Bangladesh's industrial workforce.

Over the past two years, Kaniz has grown into one of our most versatile and impactful team members — building multi-stakeholder partnerships, managing complex cross-functional projects, and representing Apon in the external and corporate affairs landscape with poise and professionalism.

Today, as Manager – External and Corporate Affairs, Kaniz is a bridge between Apon and the ecosystem that helps us grow — from factory management and NGOs to development organisations and corporate partners. She doesn't just manage relationships; she builds trust.

Kaniz, your dedication and growth inspire everyone around you. Thank you for being a true Apon champion.

Here's to many more years of impact, leadership, and milestones together! 💙.
