Who would have thought our little butchery would get a mention alongside such amazingly talented businesses.

Rutherglen has long had the w**e credentials. Now with TWO hatted restaurants, cellar door grazing, olive groves and excellent local produce, there’s every reason to bring your appetite too.

We’re rapt to get a mention in this year’s The Age Good Food Guide liftout alongside Campbells W**es, Scion, Pickled Sisters Cafe, Thousand Pound W**e Bar, Caffeine N Machine and Rutherglen Butchery. Amazing company to be in.

And a HUGE congratulations to our colleagues at KIN at All Saints Estate and Grace Bar + Eatery, who have each earned a hat. Two insanely talented teams giving food lovers even more reasons to visit.

Make a weekend of it. There’s far too much good eating and drinking here for a day trip.

THE WEEKEND STARTS THURSDAY.
Four days of good reasons to head to the pub and very little reason to cook at home.
Thursday night: meat raffle for St Mary’s School. Drawn at 6.30pm.
Friday: public holiday: no notes.
Saturday: AFL Grand Final on every screen. Dedicated seating times available.
Sunday: Roast for a Reason from 12 noon(proceeds to St Mary’s School), then Ben Chan kick starts the Sunday Series season, live and free in The Garden from 2.30pm.

Choose your moment, book your table and we’ll see you over the super-sized weekend.
