yeah I am still constantly doing some hollow ground for the last a couple of months. Mostly for my workmates. And some for other places.
It’s just fun to play with knives. Customising what ppl need, what’s the thickness they want, how wide they want.
There are pros and cons in regard the hollow ground, even between those professional one.
In fact, that really helps your jobs. Just dont go too thin, but some ppl still like very thin one tho. Anyway it just depends on what you learn first and how you sharpen your knife. It’s totally preference. I know some ppl is goat without hollow ground like cutting piece of butter. On the other handand, many still prefer hollow ground.
At the end of the day, just be careful, don’t get injured, and find what works best for you.
We are all learners. And we still keep learning. Never feel enough to keep learning new things. Cheers guys 😊
