We choose to leave stinging nettle growing in our paddocks on purpose! 🌿

Singing nettle becomes a nutrient-rich snack for our chickens — packed with vitamins and minerals that support their health and egg quality.

It also benefits the land, improving soil health and supporting beneficial insects.

A “weed” to some — a valuable resource to us. ✨

**UPDATE**

For 13 long days, our small family farm was shut down by the local shire, we were prevented from selling produce at farm.

Thirteen days might not sound like much… but for a small family farm selling fresh fruit and bath milk, it’s everything.
Its income lost. It’s stress. It’s uncertainty. It’s explaining to our kids why mum and dad are worried and stressed.

We fought to get our ability to trade reinstated — and we need our community now more than ever.

The last fortnight has meant that we haven't been able to cover costs of hired help to pick all the apples we intended to this year, as we've faced nearly two weeks of closure.

Small family farms like ours don’t clock off at 5pm.
We miss family events.
We miss first days of kindy.
We miss swimming lessons and dance lessons.
We work in the pouring rain, in ankle-deep mud, and 41-degree heat.
We get up before sunrise and keep going long after dark — because we LOVE what we do.

If you’ve ever visited us, shared a kind word, or enjoyed our produce — now is the time we’d be so grateful for your support.
