Altona Meadows this is what a good market morning looks like ❤️

Flaky pastries still warm from the oven. Deep red cherries you can smell before you taste. Crisp apples and sun-kissed apricots stacked high in crates, picked ripe and handled with care.

People who know their food, and are proud to hand it over to you🍒👩‍🌾

Altona Meadows Farmers Market — on today 🌿

We’re open 8 AM–1 PM at A.B. Shaw Reserve, and it’s a lovely morning for a market wander. Easy, local, and full of good food.

Stalls are packed with fresh fruit and veg, bread still warm, free-range eggs, cheeses, pantry staples, plants and fresh flowers, plus plenty of ready-to-eat options and coffee while you shop. It’s the kind of market where you do the weekly shop, stop for a chat, and leave with a few extra treats you didn’t plan on.

If you’re nearby, pop down and support the farmers, bakers and makers who show up every month for this community.

Bring a bag, take your time. Dogs welcome on lead 🐾

This Sunday we’re rolling back in with all the good stuff — fresh, local, seasonal, and picnic-ready. Think beach-day fruit, crisp salad veg for the BBQ, crusty breads and pastries, local honey and jams, flowers for the table, and very good coffee for your morning stroll.
