Australian guidelines recommend a minimum of 5 serves of vegetables per day. Less than 10% of Australians actually achieve this goal. (Yes, I am guilty of this as well 🙂)
Celery and carrots are excellent quality this week for those looking for a quick on the go snack. Simply cut into sticks to snack on. Or simply roast some homemade vegie chips. Potatoes, pumpkin, sweet potato, carrot or beetroot all work well for this.
Locally sourced products mean less food miles. This in turn means the food is fresh and still packed full of nutrients when it is delivered to you.
