Valley Fresh Farm

We’ve been quietly searching for an alternative to plastic nursery pots… and we think these Japanese paper pots tick a number of boxes:
✅ separate plugs for good root development and easy planting
✅ minimal waste - just a bit of paper
✅ Japanese efficiency in the nursery (quick and easy for us to grow😀)
✅ comes in a range of sizes for different veggies and herbs
Throughout this season we’ll be trialling the new system, refining and ironing out the issues in preparation for a plastic free future😮‍💨
Tomorrow at Farm Gate Market we’ll have a limited number of mix lettuce paper pots for sale. Live to hear your feedback!!

🌱 Grow Good Things is open for orders!

We already have a great bunch of schools, clubs and organisations signed up and ordering their spring veggie seedlings – but it’s not too late to get involved.

We’ve made Grow Good Things even easier this year, with a brand new website and a much simpler ordering process. Every participating organisation gets its own private page to share with its community, linking straight through to our online seedling shop.

We take care of the orders, payments and growing – with proceeds from every seedling sold going back to your school, club, organisation or a charity you choose to support.

🌱 Locally grown, chemical-free veggie seedlings
🌱 Easy online ordering
🌱 Grown to order
🌱 Ready for collection in November

Already part of a fundraiser? Head to your organisation’s page and get your order in.

Want to run one? There’s still time to join us. Find out via the link in our bio.
