We have some exciting news to share with you all!

Rick is doing extremely well with his recovery and is back up and moving around like his normal self!

On Monday, 19th October, Rick has his follow-up appointment, where we’re keeping everything crossed that he’ll be given the all-clear to return to work!

If all goes to plan, we’re hoping to reopen our doors on Wednesday, 21st October! 🎉

Of course, this will depend on the outcome of Rick’s appointment, but we’re feeling very positive and can’t wait to get back to doing what we love!

We want to say a massive thank you to everyone for their patience, understanding and ongoing support throughout this time. It truly means the world to Rick and the Valley Butchers team.

We’ll keep you all updated following Monday’s appointment!

A little update for everyone — Rick is doing well and continuing on the road to recovery!

He has a follow-up appointment on 19 October, which will hopefully give us the green light on a re-opening date and a better idea of whether we can jump straight back into full swing or whether we’ll need to ease back into things gradually.

We’re getting closer, and we can’t wait to get the doors open and see all of our wonderful customers again!

As always, we’ll keep everyone updated as soon as we know more.

And just in time for Father’s Day, we’ll have plenty of Father’s Day specials, including rib eye, pork, lamb & beef roasts, beef short ribs, plus all your favourite steaks and chops! 🥩

A little update from us,

We’re happy to share that Rick is out of surgery and officially on the road to recovery! Unfortunately, it’s looking like he’ll be out of action for around 6 weeks, so for now he’s taking some much-needed time away from the shop to rest, recover and focus on his health.

We’ll continue to keep you guys updated and will let you know our official re-opening date as soon as we have a better idea of what the next few weeks look like.

BUT… we’ve got some good news! 👀🥩

We just want to say a massive thank you for all of the messages, well wishes and support we’ve received over the last 24 hours.
A little update for everyone — Rick is currently undergoing surgery and will be out of action for a couple of weeks. Unfortunately, we’re still unsure of specific timeframes at this stage, but anyone who knows Rick won’t be surprised to hear that he’s already hanging to get back to work! 😂

For now, we just ask that you please be patient with us while Rick navigates his recovery and, most importantly, takes the time to prioritise his health.

As much as we’re itching to get the doors back open and see all your faces again, we want to make sure Rick is ready and we’ve got everything sorted before getting back into business.

You guys will be the first to know the reopening game plan as soon as we get our ducks in a row! 🦆🥩

Thank you again for all the love, patience and understanding. We seriously couldn’t ask for a better bunch of customers. ❤️

Unfortunately, Rick is currently unwell, and as a result we have made the difficult decision to temporarily close Valley Butchers while he takes the time he needs to focus on his health and recovery.

At this stage, we’re unsure exactly when we’ll be able to reopen, but we’ll keep everyone updated when we know more. In the meantime, we kindly ask for your patience and understanding while Rick takes some much-needed time away.

Thank you to everyone for your support, kindness and well wishes🥩❤️

Anyone who knows Rick knows he’s a bit of a workaholic, so we’re sure you’ll see him back behind the counter sooner rather than later!

Until then… maybe give being vegetarian a go. 😅🥦
