Hello 👋

There’s something about this time of year where the way we eat starts to shift a little.

A bit slower. A bit warmer. More time spent at home 🥰

That’s where fits in beautifully 🌿

We’ve got a range of their certified organic pantry staples in store... inspired by Ayurveda, built around wholefoods, and designed to make everyday cooking feel easy and nourishing.

Behind the brand is Jess Holdsworth, a Sunshine Coast local who grew up on a health retreat in Victoria, later travelling through India and studying Ayurveda, bringing together a lifetime of food, community, and wholefood cooking inspiration 🌱

It’s food with intention, but still incredibly simple to use in everyday life.

If you’re in store, you’ll find a selection of Love My Earth favourites ready to go.

Did you know you can also add these grocery products to your seasonal delivery boxes?! Head to our website to find out more 😍

Hello good food folk 👋

There’s something about baking like this that slows everything down a little.

Chai pear spice streusel is simple, warm, and built for this time of year... ripe pears, gentle spice, and something sweet coming out of the oven to share.

Nothing complicated. Just seasonal ingredients doing their thing.

If you’re ever looking for food inspiration, we’ve got a range of recipes and ideas on our website 🌱

Hello 👋

This week we’re celebrating Maria, who is finishing up her time with The Organic Collective after the last year and a half 💚

Maria has been a warm and steady part of the team - hardworking, reliable, and always bringing a bright smile into the day no matter how busy things got.

The kind of person who quietly gets things done, supports the people around her, and helps create the feeling of community that sits at the heart of this place 🌱

To celebrate her and everything she’s contributed, the team gathered around a beautiful homemade chai spice pear cake baked by one of our owners. A simple moment, shared together over food, which in many ways says a lot about what this place is really about.

Because behind the boxes, shelves, and deliveries is a real team of people working closely together every day... sharing early mornings, solving problems on the go, learning as we move, and building something that’s bigger than just food.

A lot of what we value as a business comes back to creating a positive team spirit, supporting one another, celebrating contributions, and remembering why we do what we do in the first place.

Maria has been a beautiful part of that culture, and we’re incredibly grateful for everything she’s brought to the collective over the past 18 months.

We’re excited for whatever comes next for her 🌿

Thanks Maria 💚

There’s something about seasonal eating that only really makes sense once you’re in it.

What’s in the box each week isn’t fixed… because nature isn’t fixed 🌱

Certified organic produce shifts with the weather, the soil, and the season.

Heatwaves, rain, frost, slower harvests, or smaller yields can all change what’s available week to week.

That’s part of the rhythm.

And it’s why no two boxes are ever exactly the same.

We work directly with certified organic farmers across WA and are foraging every day to select what’s best the day.

What arrives in your box is simply a reflection of that moment in the season. Nothing more, nothing less.

Real food. Real variability🌿

That’s how we’ve been doing it for over 25 years 💚

Hello everyone 👋

Just a gentle reminder that we’re open today from 9:00am – 1:30pm in Hamilton Hill 🌱

We’re The Organic Collective: Perth’s longest-running organic food delivery service, supporting local certified organic farmers since 1999.

At our core, we’re here for simple things done well... good food, good people, and a better connection to the season.

If you’re popping in for your weekly top-up, you’ll find fresh certified organic produce, pantry staples, dairy, and everyday essentials - all part of what we do to make eating well feel a little easier through the week.

No fuss, just good food, packed by hand and shared with our community.

We’ll be here if you need us 💚

Hello folks 👋

This week’s staff shoutout goes to Maggie, our purchasing manager, and her not-so-secret daily ritual: a Coffee ☕🌿

It’s one of those small constants in a busy week... a proper coffee while she works hard with suppliers to get our beautiful shop items on the shelf.

Maggie’s been with us for nearly 7 years, and she’s one of the people quietly shaping what ends up in your box each week - thinking ahead, finding new products, and making sure things flow the way they should.

Her coffee of choice? BioBean (Peru – Café Femenino).

It’s the kind of coffee that reminds you there’s a real story behind every cup.

The beans come from women coffee farmers in Peru who, through the Café Femenino movement, are recognised and fairly paid for the work they’ve always done. What started in 2004 has grown into a global network supporting women to take on leadership roles, gain land ownership, and strengthen their communities 💛

BioBean itself is a small Australian roaster built on ethical sourcing, organic certification, and doing things properly from bean to cup: no shortcuts, just care and consistency.

Even the details matter. Their packaging is compostable, keeping things aligned with a lighter footprint from start to finish 🌿

And between us… there’s always a bag in the staff room. It doesn’t last long though ☕😄

If you’re in store this week, feel free to ask us about it or take a bag home to try for yourself.

Autumn is starting to show itself in the kitchen… and pumpkin is one of the first to really lean into it.

If you’ve got Kent or Butternut pumpkin this week, here’s a simple way to store it so it keeps well as the weeks cool down:

Once cut, wrap it tightly or store it in an airtight container in the fridge.

Keep the skin on where possible, it helps protect the flesh and keeps it fresher for longer.

Whole pumpkins are best kept in a cool, dry spot outside the fridge until you’re ready to use them.

And while we’re not quite in full soup season yet… it’s definitely on the horizon.

Roasted pumpkin, slow cooking, warmer meals... the shift is coming.

Simple food, shaped by the season 💚

There’s something about right now where this just makes sense.

Instead of hundreds of households each driving to the shops… one van brings food to the community, delivering to many homes in a single run 🚚

Less driving.
Less fuel.
A simpler way to get good food to your door.

It’s how we’ve been doing it for over 25 years.

Quietly working in the background 🌱

Back in 1999, before apps and smartphones, we were trying to solve a simple problem…

How do you get good food to people without everyone chasing it around the city?

One vehicle.
One route.
A whole neighbourhood looked after 🚚

A modern version of the old vegetable truck.

And right now, with things feeling more expensive and stretched, it still feels like a system that makes sense.

Our seasonal boxes are part of that - more intentional than they might seem. Built around what’s in season, what’s growing well, and what works together each week.

A simple way of doing things, shared across the community 🌿
