We’ve been keeping a little secret.

Can you spot what’s new on the shelves? 👀

After months of testing fragrances, pouring wax, adjusting labels, redesigning boxes, and filling the workshop with more candles than we care to count…

Our first tea-inspired candles have finally arrived at the stall.

Each fragrance is inspired by one of our teas, with custom scent blends created to capture the character of the tea in an entirely different way.

Hand-poured.
Coco soy wax.

This first little release is available now at Stall 53 in the Fremantle Markets.

We’re not releasing them online just yet, but if you’d like one simply send us a message and we’ll happily arrange it for you. 🖤

We’d love to know—which tea would you most like to experience as a candle?

In Lady Harriet’s parlour, choosing tea is never treated as a small decision.

Some guests reach for the same dependable breakfast blend each morning, as loyal as a favourite chair.

Others choose by mood — something floral when the day feels soft, something bold when courage is required, something mysterious when the evening grows long.

And then, of course, there are those who simply open the cupboard and allow the prettiest tin to make the decision for them.

A most respectable method, in Lady Harriet’s opinion.

A Parlour Question:

Do you choose your tea by mood, by time of day, or by the tin that catches your eye first?

There was a time when enjoying a cup of tea made one an accomplice to smugglers.

In the 18th century, tea was so heavily taxed in Britain that it became a luxury far beyond the reach of many ordinary households.

Naturally, the British public responded in the most British way imaginable.

They kept drinking it.

Smuggled tea arrived by night along the coast, hidden in caves, carried inland by secret routes, and sold quietly to those who preferred their tea without the king’s extra charge.

It is a strange and rather wonderful thought — that something we now associate with calm parlours, pretty cups, and civilised conversation once had a faint air of rebellion about it.

So the next time you pour a cup, remember: tea has not always been as innocent as it looks.

Once, it crossed oceans, slipped through moonlit coves, travelled by secret roads, and still somehow ended up where it belonged —

in someone’s favourite cup.

My dear,

I have always thought there is a difference between an evening and a late evening.

An evening still belongs, at least in part, to the world. There are errands to finish, dishes to wash, messages to answer.

But a late evening belongs entirely to oneself.

The kettle is on.

The house grows quiet.

The day has finally stopped asking anything of you.

It is a small thing, perhaps, to sit with a favourite tea and a few moments of peace.

Yet some of life’s greatest comforts are made of very small things.

Tell me — what is the last thing you do before you finally settle in for the evening?

Yours faithfully,

Lady Harriet ☕✨

There is something rather pleasant about spending a public holiday wandering through Fremantle Markets.

A little browsing. A little conversation. Perhaps a teapot you didn’t know you needed. Perhaps a new favourite tea.

We’re here at Stall 53 today, surrounded by shelves of loose-leaf tea, beautiful china, and enough tea tins to keep even the most devoted tea drinker occupied for quite some time.

And for those who enjoy a challenge…

Can you identify the blend in the final photograph? ☕✨

Bonus points if you can name some of the ingredients.

My dear Friend,

On stormy winter evenings, one must choose one’s refuge carefully.

A chaise by the rain-streaked window.
A lamp-lit writing desk.
A velvet chair near the glass.
A quiet library table with a book left open.

Each has its own particular charm — and each, I think, requires a proper pot of tea.

Tell me — which stormy corner would you choose for the evening?

Yours faithfully,

Lady Harriet ☕✨

My dear Friend,

If the weekend has granted you a rare quiet morning, I hope you spend at least a small part of it with a proper pot of tea and no obligation more pressing than deciding which cup to use.

Do not wait for an occasion grand enough to deserve your loveliest things. Use the good teacup. Warm the pot. Let the morning feel a little more ceremonial than it strictly needs to.

Some luxuries ask for very little — only that we notice them.

What small ritual makes your morning feel a little more beautiful?

Yours faithfully,
Lady Harriet ☕✨

Another Saturday nearly tucked away. ☕✨

There is a particular sort of contentment that settles over the shop as the afternoon light fades and the last conversations of the day drift through the door.

It has been such a pleasure sharing tea, stories, and recommendations with so many lovely people today.

We shall be back again tomorrow from 9–6, and because of the long weekend, also on Monday.

Until then, Lady Harriet wishes you a very cosy evening. 🌿

Every morning begins with a small ritual.

One by one, the sample jars are shaken, uncapped, and set ready for the day ahead.

A few hours later, they will be surrounded by questions, conversations, and people searching for the blend that feels perfectly theirs.

But for these first few moments, it is simply the tea and me. ☕✨

Some evenings seem made for lingering. ☕✨

A lamp glowing softly in the corner, a half-finished letter resting beside the teacup, and the quiet promise that there is nowhere urgent left to be.

Lady Harriet has always believed the finest conversations arrive after dusk — when the candles are lit, the books are slightly worn, and the tea has had time to steep properly. 🌿

Tell her — if you could spend an evening in any library, study, or grand old parlour in the world, where would you choose?
