I've always struggled trying to grow in Queensland.
It's either too humid, hot or wet.
There are many different tomatoes you could probably try growing but the best time in season of the year to grow is actually in our autumn to winter.
I have been told that some people can actually can grow little mini Cherry tomatoes in our summer.
I love Roma tomatoes but they definitely do not grow in our hot humid summers at all.
The don't grow very well and they also get a virus of some sort on the leaves. And then also the little insects and bugs eat the leaves and try and eat the fruit.
I'll be trying to grow tomatoes from March onwards and I see how I go.
I wish my tomato fruit looked as good as this photo.
