A little glimpse of what's been happening on the farm, with some of our wonderful team and the first harvests from our new market garden! 😍

Bel, our market gardener who works alongside me on the farm, bringing out some of this week’s freshly harvested veg, with Anne, who helps us pack and deliver your boxes each week!

Purple and green bok choy, snow peas and sugar snap peas, with plenty more already harvested and tucked away in the cool room! 🥬🥬🥬🫛🫛🫛

Bega Valley Organics Produce Boxes 🌱🥕🥦🍎

A fresh mix of local, regional and Australian organic produce, packed into our boxes each week here in the Bega Valley.

At Big Sky Farm we grow as much as we can ourselves, alongside produce from other local growers including Grassboots Farm and Grow the Future, and then fill the gaps with trusted Australian certified organic growers.

We couple our boxes with local goods from producers like from Wild Heather Preserves, Bega Valley Eggs and Wild Rye Baking Co.

We’re also commercial garlic growers of culinary and seed garlic, with thousands of bulbs and many different varieties growing here on the farm each season, alongside our market garden. 🧄🧄🧄

We love bringing people fresh local and organic food, supporting other growers and producers, and sharing what’s growing here on our farm each week.

Jimmy's hiring at Grassboots Farm - a great opportunity and awesome farm!

Come work with us!!! We are on the lookout for some new additions to our crew this season. We are located in Candelo, NSW.

🥬We pay casual hourly horticultural award rate based on experience.

🥬You will have access to fresh healthy veg.

🥬Working closely with a small, supportive team.

🥬Up to 3 days of work per week, Monday- Wednesday from October through until May.

🥬Early morning starts.

🥬 Harvesting, packing, weeding, general farm field work.

🌞We are looking for crew that are happy to work outside in all weather, reliable, capable of physical work, are a team player and have a positive attitude!

Garlic Garlic and more Garlic!! 🌱🌱🌱

I’ve been growing garlic commercially for over a decade, but I still get excited every year when it really starts to take off in spring! 🧄🧄🧄

We’ll be harvesting around October to November,
give or take, and then my famous garlic braids will be back early December, alongside fresh garlic for our weekly produce boxes.

I’ve already got a waiting list for the garlic braids, so it’s looking like a big season of braiding ahead!
